Every hour we give and every dollar we raise goes toward building a better Bucyrus, especially for our kids.
We believe every child deserves a safe place to play, opportunities to grow, and a community that has their back. That’s why we show up. Whether we’re flipping chicken, ringing bells, planting trees, or handing out scholarships, everything we do comes back to one goal: making life brighter for the next generation.
Because when kids thrive, our whole community does too.

We raise money—and roll up our sleeves—for kids and community.
Built (and paid off early!) the Bucyrus Splash Pad so families can play for free
Host our annual Chicken BBQ and Meat & Freezer Raffle to fund youth programs and scholarships
Donate to causes that support local kids—from classroom needs to community fun
Maintain Kiwanis Grove and Picking Park—safe, welcoming spaces for all ages
Ring the bell (and win the battle) for the Salvation Army to help families in need
Fundraised with a toilet... because helping kids is worth a little embarrassment
Present the Copper Kettle each year to the Bucyrus vs. Wynford winner—cheering on local students
